Silverfish is a small, wingless insect common in cosmopolitan areas of Australia, and gets its name because of its light, silvery grey colour and fish-like movements. They are distributed throughout most of the world.
Silverfish have a long, slender, flat body that tapers at the rear. Their antennae are also long and slender, and their body is covered with scales. Mature adults vary in size from 15mm to 25mm and young silverfish are similar in appearance to adults, but much smaller. They move very fast but are unable to climb smooth surfaces.

What is included in the pest control package?
The pest control includes treatment for cockroaches, silverfish, external webbing spiders and ants. We include a 12-month warranty for silverfish and cockroaches, and 3 months for external webbing spiders. No warranty included for ant treatment.
How often should I get pest control treatment to keep pests away?
In order to effectively prevent common pests, we recommend yearly pest control treatment unless there is a more serious infestation which may require 3 to 6 monthly treatments until we gain full control.

How long does a pest control take?
This will depend on the severity of the infestation and the size of the property. A typical treatment can be completed in about 60 plus minutes. However, if the property has an active infestation, this can last longer.
Can pest control chemicals trigger allergies?
If you are allergic to fumes and chemicals, some pest control solutions may trigger allergies and even asthma. If you have allergic reactions to chemicals, we strongly advise that you keep away from the premise during the treatment process.
Our team will also discuss and inform you of precautionary measures before the pest treatment.
Is pest control safe for pets?
Most pest control chemicals and methods are safe for pets. However, for proper precaution, it is best to discuss with us regarding the pets that reside in your property.
