Bald Knob is a rural town in the Sunshine Coast Region. It is located 78 km north of Brisbane on the Blackall Range in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

There are two mountains in Bald Knob: Bald Knob and Wilkes Knob. It is also home to several parks, including Bald Knob Lookout, Landsborough-Maleny Road Park, MacDonalds Road Environmental Reserve and Upper Mooloolah Nature Refuge.
